Project Overview

Located in the heart of Historic West Concord Village in Massachusetts and next to the MBTA commuter rail station, Brookside Square offers 74 one and two bedroom apartments, 30,000sf of first floor retail space, and underground parking & storage. Residents have access to a lightly landscaped rooftop terrace as well as landscaped courtyards. Two-stories of wood framed apartment units are built over two elevated concrete levels and one level of subterranean parking. Building was supported by a two foot thick mat-foundation slab that was designed in to resist buoyant forces due to design flood elevation. First Level above grade consists of commercial space for retail and restaurants and was capped with concrete transfer slab. Unit construction consists of open web floor and roof trusses supported by 2x bearing walls.
