Raj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Anna University, India, and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. His graduate research focused on the structural performance of fiber-reinforced concrete confined with carbon FRP. He earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in 2011 and is currently licensed in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Outside the office, Raj enjoys spending time with his family, keeping up with his young sons, and competing in a local volleyball league—where teamwork and quick reactions still matter just as much as they do on the job.
